Question about being gay/lesbian or transgender

The question
I don't believe It's right to hate people because they are gay/ lesbian/ or transgender or that they are doing something wrong. What do you think?

The Bible teaches us to love people not hate them. God accepts anyone who will turn from their sin and put their trust in Jesus Christ to save them. The Bible says that if we have broken just one of God's commandments we are are guilty of them all. So in God's eyes outside of Christ we are all equally sinful. So we have no right to look down on or hate other people.
But, on the other hand, the Bible also very clearly teaches that homosexuality and being transgender is wrong.
God created marriage to be between one man and one woman and he made females females and males males.
Here are some verses in the Bible that show us how God feels about it.

From the old Testament

Deuteronomy 22:5 ESV

A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Leviticus 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them."

From the New Testament

Romans 1:24-32

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. ...

I don't know a whole lot about the subject, but I do know from the Bible that it is wrong. But so is stealing, coveting, lying, etc. which we are all guilty of. So I won't hate someone because of their sin, but I will not accept it as being right.
I hope this answers your question. If I have misunderstood your question, let me know.

How Can You Prove God Exists?

You are proof! You are God's creation.
If there was no God, there would be no atheists!
Creation is proof of a Creator, just like a building is proof of a builder. It is logic.

One man said, "To prove there is a God, all you need is a brain that works and eyes that see!" It is obvious.
Everywhere you look there is proof.

You can also ask God to show you that He is real. If you sincerely ask Him, He will answer and show you.
The Bible says fools think there is no God.
It also says in
Rom 1:18-20  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

In simpler paraphrased words "But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, evil men who push away the truth from them. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively; God has put this knowledge in their hearts. Since earliest times men have seen the earth and sky and all God made, and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they will have no excuse (when they stand before God at Judgment Day).   (The Living Bible)

How should a girl prepare for marriage?

1) Learn skills.
Cooking, driving, gardening/yard work, looking after children etc.
Cooking is a big one! It's best to learn as much as possible before you are married, as once you are married meal planning becomes a big daily responsibility.
You don't want your husband to be like the newly wed guy who said, "My wife really worships me. She puts before me three burnt offerings every day!" :)

Help!!

2) Learn to keep a tidy room/house.
It's one thing to have a bedroom to keep in order, but it's another thing to have a whole house to look after. It's good to learn to keep your room clean and tidy and then it won't be so overwhelming when you have a whole house. Also, I can assure you, your husband will appreciate coming home to a clean orderly house!

3) Keep your heart for your man.

When you are married, you will have to stay faithful to your man. But if you are used to switching boyfriends regularly and flirting with anyone, how will you stay true to your man? God only has one man for you, so why not keep your heart pure until He shows you the right one?

4) Respect your father and/or any other authority in your life.

If you don't respect your father now, you probably won't respect your husband. Your father has much more experience than your future husband, so if you can't respect your father for his rules, authority and decisions, you won't respect your husband with his little experience/wisdom. Even though he isn't perfect and makes mistakes sometimes, respect him. Your husband won't be perfect either!

5) Learn to be content and thankful.

If you're not happy and fulfilled as a single woman, you won't be content as a wife either. You will not automatically become fulfilled once you are married.
Also, if you learn to be content and not covetous, you will be a big blessing to your husband as you will help save money!

6) Start praying for him.

As a wife, you'll need to pray for your husband that he will make the right decisions as he leads the family. Why not get in the habit now? All young guys need a lot of prayer! Even if you never marry, I don't believe your prayers will be wasted.

7) Make a list of all you want your husband to be, then learn to be that yourself.

It's easy to have expectations and yet not come close to meeting them ourselves. If you learn to be what you want your husband to be, you'll attract the type of husband you want.

8) Learn how guys think.

Males and females think very differently! If you learn how he thinks and what he needs, then you will be a better and happier wife!! Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is a good book to learn how men think.

9) Study the Bible to see what God says to women.
What does the Bible say about how girls/women should live and act? What does God expect from wives? Why not find out?

Should You Have a List of What You Want Your Future Husband to be?

It's more important to try and be yourself  what you want your future husband to be. Because you will most likely attract someone with the same values as you. For example, if you want a hardworking guy and you're lazy, you won't attract a hardworking guy. If you want a guy who is unselfish, he won't choose you if you are very selfish! If you want a guy who is active in serving God, the guy you're looking for will want a wife who is the same. So I would suggest you write a list, and then apply it to yourself.
It is important to want a good guy. It should matter to you what he is like. But the most important thing is for him to love the Lord and to be honorable. He needs to be someone you can respect.
If I had written a long list of what I wanted my future husband to be, I would have been a bit disappointed or I would still be single!! But my husband loves God and is someone I can respect. That is what's important. God's priorities are often different to ours.
Also, God knows what kind of man you need and what guy needs you. And it's probably different than what you think! :)
Pray for God to give you a husband who loves God and ask God to show you who that one is. There is only one for you! And pray that God will make you into what you want your husband to be.

I heard one pastor say "There are some woman who can't find a man because the man that they're looking for died on the cross and ascended to the right hand of the Father and there's not another one like Him."
There are no perfect guys out there. If there were, none of them would want to marry imperfect females like us!! But there are guys out there who live for God and who are respectable.

Why Do Girls Need to Dress Modestly?

1) God says so.
This is all that really matters, isn't it? God said it, that settles it! It's a command from God.
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, 1Timothy 2:9

2) Guys think differently than girls.
My husband has told me I will never understand how guys think! He's right! But I do know a little bit.
Guys are visual. They are attracted/tempted by what they see.
Remember David with Bathsheba? If it had been the other way around, would Bathsheba have been tempted? I doubt it!! Girls aren't attracted to guys that way, right? It's just not a temptation! For me, at least! Girls are more tempted by touch.
Guys are different. So if we aren't modestly covered, we are a temptation for them to think sinful thoughts etc. Do you want to be a stumbling block to guys?

3) Safety.
So many bad things happen to girls because of the way they are dressed. I heard of some tourist girls in our country who were raped/attacked. In the newspaper report someone said something like, "The way they were dressed explained it." Of course guys are responsible for their sinful actions, but we shouldn't put temptation in front of them, otherwise we're just as guilty. I met a lady who is a missionary to the Aborigines in Australia. She reckoned that where she lived, there weren't so many rapes etc. because females don't wear tight and revealing clothes like they do here. If all girls dressed modestly, there would be a lot less problems in this world!

4) Clothes are supposed to be a covering.
Clothes are supposed to cover, aren't they? Not uncover!! Today clothes are designed to uncover.

5) You are an example to younger girls.
Girls around you are watching how you dress.  How you dress will affect how they dress. Are you a good role model?

6) It's honoring to God.
The Bible teaches us that whatever we do, we should do to the glory of God. That includes the way we dress. When is the last time you thought, 'Do these clothes honour God?'
Or do we dress to draw attention to ourselves? Do we dress to be like the world?

7) Dressing modestly will attract the right kind of guy!
If you don't dress modestly, you will attract attention, but not from a godly guy! Godly guys will have to look the other way. You want a guy who likes you for who you are--not for your body, right?

8)The way you dress reflects your heart.
I know that you can dress modestly and have a sinful heart. But if you have a heart that wants to please God, then it will affect the way you dress. If your heart is pure, you'll want to dress in a way that is pure.

9) It gives you dignity.
In the Bible in Proverbs there is a story about the strange lady. It says she is dressed like a harlot (prostitute). How do you think a harlot would dress?? I can guess! Why do they dress like that? To try and get attention to themselves. Does the way you dress make you look like a harlot?? There is no dignity in that.
I listened to a sermon where the preacher explained the difference between beauty and sensuality. God created beauty. Beauty isn't wrong.
But sensuality is different. It brings attention to your body in a sinful way. Like a harlot. Sensuality is wrong. It's not beauty.

Does God have one specific person for you to marry or would any good Christian guy do?

Is there a 'right' one?
If I hadn't believed that God had a specific person for me to marry, I wouldn't have married the man that I did! I wasn't attracted to my husband when I first met him or when he wanted to start a relationship sometime later. I hardly knew him and we didn't live in the same area, so I couldn't really get to know him without starting a relationship. If I hadn't believed that God had a specific person for me, I wouldn't have even thought twice about it. But I knew it was possible that he was the right one for me, so I prayed about it a lot and asked God for wisdom. And after five years of being married, I am so thankful I left the choice to God because He always knows what's best!
So I definitely believe the answer to this question is yes! (If its God's will for you to marry)
But I wasn't sure if I could actually back it up from the Bible.
So I started looking and was surprised at what I found. I read the story of Rebekah and Isaac to see if there were any clues.
In Genesis 24:14 when Abraham's servant was praying about finding a wife for Isaac he said,
And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
He said the same thing again in verse 44 when he was talking to Rebekah's family.
This servant believed that there was one particular girl who was the right one for Isaac. And it made his job a whole lot easier!! :)
And then if you look at the story of the very first marriage, you see that God created a wife for Adam. He didn't create 10 and give Adam the choice! He created Eve especially for Adam.
God knows what we need far better than we do.
But in saying all that, no guy is perfect! The right one does not mean a perfect one. And it's more important to be the right one yourself!
